Interests Lately I've been listening to: alternative rock, classic 60s+70s/some 80s I'm currently reading: three books at one time The last movie I watched was: don't remember My must-see show is: ...Are there any these days? I'd love to visit: France, Australia, New Zealand I'm curious about: why people think what they think Topping my Wish List is: a MUCH better future for our children. Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: I like most music and art, especially modern art. I like Matisse and Picasso... There's something about the way they used form and color that electrifies a drab wall. I also enjoy David Hockney's work. Old lithographs and sepia photographs are fun. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: Books about psychology. I also read "How To" books (gardening, landscaping, design). Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I'm not a huge movie/TV person. When I watch TV, I like biographies, documentaries and cooking shows -- I feel like it should have educational value if I'm going to waste time looking at it. Favorite Places: Second-hand stores; The beach; Visiting the city for the weekend; A drive in the country can be fun too! Wish List: A 10% pay raise for all -- except Congress! Affiliations Political Affiliation: Independent voter. I don't fully believe either party's line. It never works the way they say it does. You've got to dig deep to find the truth. Candidates I support: Anyone with a viable plan to get us out of the hole we're in thanks to our current leadership. Religious Affiliation: I'm spiritual more so than religious. Religion is a private, personal choice not to be used to tell others how to live their own lives. The Golden Rule is wise, but to strive for acceptance is a great path to travel.
